What capacity does the Roadhouse offer?
The Roadhouse at the TA Ranch can comfortably accommodate around 280 guests indoors, with the option to fully open the large doors to create additional space and a seamless indoor-outdoor flow for larger gatherings.
There’s ample space to set up a buffet table for food service, a full bar, a DJ or band setup, and a designated dance floor — all under one roof. The layout is flexible, allowing you to customize the space to fit your style and flow of the evening.
For larger weddings, the venue can be opened up to accommodate outdoor seating. Buffet lines and bar can also be set up outside of the Roadhouse if necessary.
Are there any restrictions on Food, Decorations, or music?
The TA Ranch does not allow external catering for weddings unless it comes from a licensed and insured food service provider. All outside food must arrive fully sealed and prepared off-site — no onsite cooking or setup is permitted. This policy ensures food safety and maintains the quality standards of the ranch.
The Roadhouse offers complete flexibility when it comes to decorating for your wedding — you’re welcome to bring your vision to life with any style or theme you choose. The only restriction is that no open flames (such as candles or lanterns) are allowed for safety reasons. Otherwise, the space is yours to customize and make uniquely yours!
Another one of the perks of celebrating at the TA Ranch is that it’s private property located outside of town limits — which means there are no noise restrictions! You and your guests are free to enjoy music, dancing, and celebration late into the night without worry.
Are there any additional fees associated with the venue?
The Roadhouse at the TA Ranch is a turnkey venue, meaning that setup and breakdown are fully included except for decorating. Our team handles all the details — from arranging tables and chairs to ensuring the space is ready for your celebration.
For weddings with more than 280 guests, an additional setup fee applies, as the event layout may extend into multiple areas to accommodate an indoor/outdoor reception. This ensures every guest enjoys a comfortable and seamless experience.
Is there a backup plan if the weather is bad?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the TA Ranch team can quickly turn over the Roadhouse to host both your ceremony and reception indoors. The flexible space allows for a smooth transition so your celebration can continue comfortably, rain or shine.
To help make this switch efficient, the TA Ranch staff kindly asks for assistance from the wedding party with setup and transitions. With a little teamwork, the venue can be ready in no time — ensuring your day stays beautiful no matter the forecast.
Is there an outdoor space for a ceremony or cocktail hour?
The TA Ranch offers multiple beautiful locations across the property for your ceremony and cocktail hour. From scenic outdoor spots with sweeping Wyoming views to charming rustic settings near the historic buildings, you can choose the backdrop that best fits your vision. These flexible spaces allow you to create a unique flow for your day — whether you’d like your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one area or spread out across the ranch.

What is the payment schedule for the venue?
Payment plans at the TA Ranch vary depending on the wedding package you select. A deposit is required to secure your date, and all package balances must be paid in full prior to the wedding day.
The only exception is the open bar tab, which is finalized and paid after the event based on actual usage. This ensures flexibility while keeping everything simple and transparent.
What types of tables, chairs, and decor are available?
The TA Ranch provides plastic tables and chairs for up to 200 guests. While durable and easy to arrange, couples are welcome to rent alternative styles to match their wedding aesthetic. Tablecloths and décor are not included, but they can be provided at an extra charge, giving you the freedom to customize the look to your liking.
Is there a sound system or audio equipment available?
The TA Ranch offers a professional sound system that can be rented for your wedding or event for an additional fee. It’s perfect for speeches, music, and dancing — providing great sound quality without the need to bring in extra equipment.
Does the venue offer catering service?
All wedding meals at the TA Ranch are catered in-house by the ranch’s talented culinary team, led by Chef Kirsten Giles. Each menu is thoughtfully crafted to highlight fresh ingredients and authentic ranch-style flavors — from elegant plated dinners to hearty buffets. The TA Ranch team works closely with each couple to create a customized dining experience that fits their taste and vision.
Are there additional costs for parking or security Services?
The TA Ranch provides complimentary parking and security services for all wedding events. There are no additional fees — guests can park conveniently on-site in our large parking lot beside the Roadhouse, and the ranch staff ensures a safe and organized environment throughout your celebration.
Are there discounts for off-season or weekday weddings?
The TA Ranch offers off-season weddings at half off our high-season rates, making it an ideal option for couples seeking a more budget-friendly celebration without compromising on the ranch experience.
For smaller weekday weddings, the ranch can accommodate micro weddings of 50–75 guests, providing an intimate setting with the same beautiful venues, services, and amenities available to larger celebrations.

How much time do i have for setup/breakdown?
Couples have access to the Roadhouse from Friday at 4:00 PM until Sunday at 11:00 AM. This timeframe allows plenty of opportunity for setup, rehearsal, the wedding celebration, and breakdown, giving you a full weekend to bring your vision to life.
Do you offer event planning services?
The TA Ranch offers comprehensive wedding planning services for an additional charge, helping couples with all aspects of their event. From live entertainment and décor to overall coordination, our team can assist in creating a seamless and personalized celebration tailored to your vision.
Is there a designated area for bride and groom suites?
At the TA Ranch, the Granary is the preferred choice for the bridal suite, while the Bunkhouse is recommended as the groom suite. However, any of the ranch’s guest houses can be reserved exclusively for the bridal or groom parties, allowing flexibility to accommodate your wedding weekend needs.

Are there any additional Insurance Policies?
The TA Ranch carries full liability insurance for all weddings and events held on the property. This coverage provides peace of mind for couples and guests, ensuring that the celebration is protected and secure from start to finish.

Are there limitations or specific vendors that are allowed?
Couples are not required to use the TA Ranch’s preferred vendors, giving you the freedom to choose the professionals that best fit your style and vision. That said, we are happy to provide a curated list of vendors we’ve worked with over the years, including photographers, florists, and entertainers, to help make planning your wedding easier.
For vendors not on our preferred list, approval from the TA Ranch is required before booking to ensure they meet the ranch’s liability standards and guidelines.
How long will the date be held once the proposal is sent?
Once a wedding proposal is sent, the TA Ranch will hold your requested date for two weeks. This gives you time to review the proposal and make a decision before a deposit is required to officially secure your date.
Is a wedding planner required?
While a wedding planner is not required, there must be a designated point of contact from the couple or their party during the wedding weekend. This ensures the ranch staff has someone available to coordinate logistics, answer questions, and keep the event running smoothly.
Are there any restrictions on photos/videos at the venue?
There are no limitations on photography or videography, allowing couples to capture every moment of their wedding. The only exception is drones, which must be approved in advance to ensure safety and compliance with ranch guidelines.
